Runtime validation versus types
TypeScript interfaces are erased at runtime. Casting an unknown request to an interface does not validate it. The RC's root type exports include legacy reflection/schema/validator declarations, but many of these are type-only exports, not callable JavaScript values.
Do not instantiate TypeValidator, TypeRegistry, SchemaValidator or
other legacy type-system classes from a type-only export. The internal DTO
decorators AIDto, AIValidate and Field are not public npm exports.
Use HTTP schemas for request validation and explicit application guards for business constraints. If using another schema library, invoke that library explicitly; it is not automatically connected to UDIOT by a TypeScript annotation. See type utilities for compile-time helpers.
